BUSINESS SYSTEMS SUPPORT Taxes - Four taxes are supported on each item in the system.
- Client can determine relevant tax using a simple check box interface.
Shipping
Three shipping options directly supported.
- UPS on-line services (setup costs are extra).
- Canada Post (setup cost extra).
- User defined shipping tables by weight, cart value and "city by country".
Shipping methods can be defined for each selection. Customers can choose from valid options as defined by the store owner. Example USA may only support International Air but Canada can support ground, air and over-night. Packaging Type - Presentation of packaging options at the finalization of orders.
- Options such as gift wrapping etc can be made available.
- Additional charges and surcharges can be applied before presentation to the customer.
Reports All report for site activity are available in three formats.
- CSV (comma separated values)
- Excel format
- XML format
Reports include site logs sorted by month. Printer Friendly versions of Articles Printer friendly versions of pages strip unnecessary information from the page and allows customers to save ink with only the relevant information of the page being printed. Order Management - Any existing, unprocessed new orders immediately displayed to site administrator upon log-in.
- When a new order is placed with the system an e-mail notification is sent to both the client and the order manager defined at setup.
- Orders can be updated by the person responsible for order picking.
- Customers can follow the link on the original e-mail notification in order to view the current status and messages posted for their order.
Navigation Quick Access Support
Two features are included with the system.
- Quick search - allows the customer to enter a keyword group resulting in all items, articles and direct links that match the criteria for each of the relevant objects found.
- A navigation bar dynamically created and presented with each item displayed on the site: Section \Subsection \Category \Subcategory for location of item found.
- Clicking on any part of this link will take the client to the area described and display all items belonging at that level.
